Synopsis
"The House of the Four Winds" is a 1935 adventure novel by the Scottish novelist John Buchan. It is set in the fictional European country of Evallonia in the early 1930s, and explores the influence of some Scottish visitors in the toppling of a corrupt government - and the reinstatement of a monarchy. This text is a must-read for anyone who has enjoyed its prequel, "Castle Gay", or any of Buchan's writing, and it would make for a worthy addition to any bookshelf.
