Time does not heal--the agony of loss remains and, in some cases, intensifies with the passing of time unless you take action.
Are you ready to move forward and reclaim your life with renewed hope and purpose?
Life Interrupted, endorsed by Dr David and Lisa Frisbie, Founders of The Center for Marriage and Family Studies, will provide the guidance you need to help you move forward.
This compassionate, faith-based book begins by addressing the stages of grieving, including denial, fear, anger, hurt, guilt, depression, letting go, and saying farewell.
Through candid explanations, real-life examples, and thoughtful guidance, Life Interrupted helps readers confront the raw, often messy emotions that follow a loss. It encourages readers to acknowledge their feelings through narrative and prompts and provides space for the reader to process their pain.
Where most books dealing with grief stop, Life Interrupted continues with a section titled “Life Resumed,” offering encouragement and insight for moving forward by focusing on four key areas:
Are you spinning in circles, feeling lost and confused? Life Interrupted provides gentle guidance to help stabilize your world, work through grief, and find peace—one step at a time.

Her first two books cover various stages and topics crucial to healing from loss. Her third book, The American Southwest: Pride Prejudice Perseverance, is a historical overview of the various cultures that have populated the Southwest from ancient time to the present and focuses on the pivotal role that Latinos have played. The book is endorsed by Tom Rivera, Ed.D, Associate Dean at CSUSB and is on the shelves at various college and university libraries. Her most recent book, The Littlest Chef: Fun and Healthy Recipes for Children, was inspired by her hands-on cooking experiences with her grand daughters. Life Interrupted is an interactive book that contains helpful guidelines, prompts and inspirational quotes. Each page is filled with beautiful images of natural settings and contains adequate space for the reader to write down thoughts and feelings. The farewell page is followed by a section encouraging the reader to live in the present, discover their passion and plan for the future. The last section contains a chapter with suggestions on how to help friends and family including children deal with their loss.
The inspiration for the book came from the author's personal experience with loss and healing due to the multiple deaths of family members.
