Washington socialite Beverly 'Scout' Wainwright is kidnapped from her home a few short hours before an attack on the nation's capital. In the days that follow, with traditional lines of communication down and the authorities otherwise engaged, it's up to the Wainwright clan, led by Scout's son Johnny, to save the eccentric matriarch. Spanning Virginia horse country, Washington, D.C., and Hong Kong, "Scout's Honor" is a breakneck-paced thriller that surprises the reader at every turn.

"Scout's Honor" was my first book and I recently unpublished it so that I could rewrite and rework it to better reflect where I am now as a writer. The story is coming back in 2019, freshened up, with a new cover and title. It's not bad and I'm not embarrassed by it...but it needed work. That, and I never promoted it at all; it sold very few copies.I hope it'll have a new life and a new twist this late-Summer.--ScottMay 11, 2019
