Synopsis

After the loss of his only daughter in a car accident, the main character of this children story could not stop crying over his daughter's loss. He wished that he could hold her in his arms just one more time. God heard his prayer and sent an angel to make his wish come true. What followed put the father through the most amazing experience. Not only did he get to hold his daughter in his arms one more time, but he also learned things that brought eternal peace to his heart. The author, Miranda Conyers, gets very emotional when she talks about the story behind the story, because the young woman in this story is her own niece and the father is none other than her own brother. She hopes that the peace and comfort the story brings to her and her family, will be felt by the children and adults who read the book.

About the Author

Miranda Parbhoo-Conyers was born in Bethlehem, the Holy Land, and grew up with a great passion for writing. After years of limiting her writings to her diaries, personal correspondence and blogs, she was ready to release her first children story. Her personality, beliefs and background are clearly seen in her writings. Though she has been living in the United States for almost 20 years, her tie with her birthplace is very strong and is very personal to her. She believes that God had a purpose for her when he made Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, her birthplace as well. She believes that God wanted her to spread His love and word. This deep faith is communicated in her writings. Miranda Conyers is excited about her first book, Daddy Please Don't Cry because it tells the story of her brother and his deceased daughter and the hope in store for both. She hopes that it will bring a message of hope and love to every child and adult. The author is intending to have a sequel in which the angel in this book will visit children in distress to teach them values and good manners.

The author is in the process of writing a series of Angel Tales for children of the ages 4-12, and hopes to release two of them in 2010.
