Who Is Jerry Grable? I am your average sinner, although over time, I am improving and working with the Holy Spirit in all aspects of my life. I m in construction and spend a great deal of time camping in the mountains of Oregon and other various job sites. Now, one evening after work, when I had been reading a religious book, I began to have some thoughts and was prompted to take up a pen and paper and write them down. Of course, I kept ignoring the notion but it wouldn t go away. When I had finished reading, I decided to watch tv as my favorite show was soon to come on. You know, that thought just wouldn t leave me alone, so finally I got the pen and that piece of paper and placed them on the table, thinking, there, it s done , and how strange this is as I have never been one to even write letters. Soon after, while watching my program, other thoughts began crowding into my mind along with the feeling that I must write them down. The feeling would not go away but became stronger until I gave in and wrote down the heading, The Plan of Salvation , and within moments a flood of thoughts came into my mind and out of my pen and I couldn t write them down fast enough. I could not believe what was happening and when I had finished and read what I had written down it was as if it were the first time I had seen it. The whole experience left me feeling bewildered. Since that night, rarely a week goes by that I am not impressed to write . One day on the way to work, I was wondering if it were truly the Holy Spirit working through me, your average sinner. As I drove, I began to pray to our Father in Heaven that if this were from the Holy Spirit and good works and not of Satan to please insure me with a sign. Friends, I had not driven a mile further when as plain as day a voice within me said, Be not as you were, but as I have made you now. Tears came to my eyes and my faith and the reality of God became solid as a rock. Since that time, as I have stated, these short sermons come to me and to paper that it may be passed on to those who are in need. Praise God!
