About the Author
Miko Montgomery was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and now makes his home in Las Vegas, where, in addition to his work as a writer, he is also a musician/composer, filmmaker and visual stylist. He is the owner of MovieBrat Poster Shop (moviebratpostershop.com) and creates many of the designs there. Miko is currently completing a collection of short stories set in Las Vegas called Whack City. He is also writing the continuing adventures of Raven and the other characters found in Raven Diablo: Agent of Kali.
Review
I was very impressed with this vital and powerful 'superhero' that Mr Montgomery has created. In a very subtle but entertaining manner he has woven a complex blend of traits and sources into a a new-style hero. Raven is multi-cultural, feminist, metaphysical, sexy, violent and could be the start of a new era in the genre. I will be interested to see how she develops and imagine she would transfer easily to any form of media. This is a great start to what might become a very viable franchise. I can't wait to see where she heads next and can already see Angelina Jolie buying the movie rights! --Amazon
