From the Author

I was both humbled and honored when Suzanne K. Powell (original author/editor of the first two Core Curriculum editions) invited me to carry the torch and rise to the challenge of continuing her fabulous work with Dr. Hussein Tahan. This edition refreshes and adds to professional case management literature which are important aspects of my professional mission of contributing to the knowledge base of our practice. I especially enjoyed working on the third edition with the increased use of figures, tables, and boxes to augment content and readability.
