About the Author

Ryan P. Bonfiglio is the director of the Writing and Academic Skills Center at Emory's Candler School of Theology and is an adjunct instructor in Old Testament at Spring Hill College. His primary areas of research and teaching focus on biblical hermeneutics, prophetic literature, Israelite religion, and the reception history of the Hebrew Bible. He is author of the forthcoming volume, Reading Images, Seeing Texts: Towards a Visual Hermeneutics for Biblical Studies

. Prior to earning his doctorate, he was an affiliated chaplain through Princeton University s Office of Religious Life. He is a committed educator and lay leader in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
