From the Author

The first question I am usually asked, is why I wrote my book. As a child, I attended church as did most growing up in the 1950s. I found myself asking questions. The problem was, whenever I asked a question, I usually got one of two pat answers. "You have to have faith" or "Because the bible says so". For most people, I guess that was a good enough answer; however, for me it was simply not answering the question at all. So, as I got older, and still there were no answers, I decided to find the answers myself. It didn't take long to figure out that I was asking the questions the church didn't want people to ask. It's one thing to have faith; however, as the people of Jonestown found out, having blind faith can be a bad thing. I finally decided to write a book, so that other people who had questions might be able to find answers too. One of my friends, who is a devout catholic read my book. She said she didn't agree with my book; however, she said she enjoyed it, and that it made her think. Now, isn't that what a book is suppose to do, make people think?
