Synopsis

This book is my small contribution to blocking further Internet job scams on a professional networking site. A trusted site that responded according to that trust, but, if I do not speak out with the whole story then I am guilty of perpetrating the scam. And, if you don't read it, you might be guilty of my same failures.

About the Author

Richard Owen is an independent Texas-based business development, strategy and management consultant. In addition, over the past 18 months his service offerings have grown to include the delivery of ethics training and consulting as a result of Dr. Owen’s recent research in business ethics. Richard received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Political Science after 3 years of math and engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy. He then worked for twenty-five years and returned to earn an MBA from Texas A&M. He followed that with his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. He is a PMP certified project manager and has applied that expertise in information systems (hardware, software & services), e-commerce strategy, public and private enterprise, oil and gas, and electricity. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, the Society for Business Ethics, and has co-authored two books - the Sarbanes-Oxley Body of Knowledge and The Nuts and Bolts of Business. Richard is a frequent keynote speaker on both process improvement and ethics on an international basis.
