Elisabeth wrote this book to highlight those transcendent moments we experience when our heart is quiet and we are filled with peace. These moments of grace serve to guide us along our path, showing us all the beauty that life has to offer us when we embody a purity of heart that sings in harmony with nature. Children intuitively know how to 'listen' to the music of everyday life, and learn to play our melodies, which reflect our values and qualities of heart. Elisabeth hopes that children will grow in their understanding of how a loving heart creates beautiful music for all to hear. Elisabeth has studied healing modalities in the Far Eastern, Native American, and Andean traditions over the past twenty years. Elisabeth founded and administers a Healing Arts Center at a non-profit organization in New York City focused on assisting homeless youths. In addition, she teaches classes in personal development, stress management, mindfulness and the healing arts.
