Synopsis
How far will the Church go to keep women from the priesthood ? Magda Heffernan: a nun personifiying the kindness and decency Christ surely intended. Though a trained and competenttheologian, and certain she has been called to be a priest, Magda has for 30 years, until now, patiently accepted the secondary roles doled out by men seldom her intellectual or moral equal.
