Synopsis
Parker Booth had been told, that the seeds of evil are present in all good deeds, and that all bad things bring some good, his life and most of his recent thoughts were the perfect metaphor for these age-old paradoxes. His discovery was so very good, really quite wonderful, worth all his sacrifice. Somehow, however, even though he had spent most of his professional life seeking it, he knew there was something very wrong with his find, and with himself for seeking it, perhaps even with its finding. He gave his inquisitors nothing and disrespectfully played with them by changing their movements and speech back and forth between regular and slow motion, the way a cat plays with a barely conscious mouse.
