From the Author:
Writing "Find Big Fat Fanny Fast" was a roller-coaster ride, reliving my experiences of the past 50 years. I'd estimate, 50% of the scenes in the novel actually happened to either me, my family or my friends (except the murders of course). All the characters are composites of people that have actually been part of my life. To reduce the possibility of a sudden "accident," names have been changed to protect the author.
In my last novel "Angel of Death," no character was based on any person I knew. Every scene was invented by my fertile imagination. That was drudgery, not the joy ride I experienced penning "Find Big Fat Fanny Fast."
I have enough additional personal experiences to write a sequel of "Find Big Fat Fanny Fast." Which ones will I use? I won't know until I start the process.
From the Back Cover:
"Joe Bruno has captured the essence of Lower East Side street mentality in this work. Unless one immerses himself in this type of environment in real life, there is no way you can make this stuff up. Having grown up in New York's
Little Italy, I can fully relate to and appreciate the vignettes he paints. His
staccato style is a perfect match for the wild situations and colorful characters that inhabit Fat Fanny's world, which features Fanny herself as the leading
lady. Get ready to laugh your ass off. Each chapter is like a jolt of Red Bull on steroids. Buckle up and enjoy the ride." - LV -
