Life seemed simple until Cada's family scattered to the wind: Johnny, her brother ventured west leaving behind a girl who waited forever; her sister, Maggie, put a "glammer" on a Scotish man McTavish of Dumston Castle in Scotland. A Cajun girl Du'Nai, who was "took" and made a slave, became an unforgetable personlity. A Black man Tunis G. Campbell, who craved politics and religion entered their life and became the first Black Senator of Geogia. Who can forget the wonderful Ma Marge, "the keeper of the fold." It is a marvelous, romantic, historical fiction that you will treasure and never forget.
