About the Author:

Stephen and Glenna Dean live in the small village of Abbot, Maine where they are in pastoral ministry of two United Methodist congregations of Guilford and Ripley. Stephen received his call to ministry after his 1996 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Living in northern Maine and within easy driving distance of the A.T. Stephen still maintains his connections to the Trail community. Other activities include a love for wildlife, gardening, and bee keeping.
