About the Author

Dave Rice began writing mystery novels after retirement from careers in both Firefighting and Registered Nursing. Although his first loyalty was to his firefighting experience, Rice chose to write about substance abuse nursing in his first novel, Recovery the Hard Way which was released in early 2010 and is available in major bookstores and also on the internet. He is also currently developing several manuscripts for later publication at a later date. Everyone is also encouraged to read his other books, Just a Chick on the Side and The Women of Conjure.
