Award-winning "The Little Goat in Africa" sends one on a journey through time through the eyes of a child! This child, Allie, has a whole new and fresh perspective of things, of life. I enjoyed writing it as, to me, through my years of experiences, I have seen less and less of "fresh" takes on life. Too, children seem to be growing up more and more into a digital world of technology versus the real thing - farm life, animals, travel, one on one with other human beings, as well as the responsibility of helping those who cannot help themselves - especially when it comes to "pets." I hope I bring that across in this book.
Readers who follow Allie on her adventures will experience world wind journeys to different global locations. Such experiences will be shared here as seen through the eyes of a child. Readers will also learn what it's like to live on a farm in the country, in a home in the suburbs, travel with parents to help others in third world countries (specifically Kenya, Africa), and at the same time being helpful along the way!
Allie grows from doing normal household chores to helping others, no matter what others' needs. She discovers herself, new emotions and caring for those who cannot care for themselves - some who are human and some who are not!
Note, due to the popularity of Allie's journeys, her stories have won numerous awards. Some of those awards include two Runner Ups, plus she earned a First Place from Beach Festival Awards in San Francisco, California.
