Greg Atkinson is the author of The Northwest Essentials Cookbook and In Season. He writes the ''Taste'' food column in the Pacific Northwest Magazine that appears in the Sunday Seattle Times, and he is a contributing editor to Food Arts. Greg was the executive chef at the award - winning Canlis restaurant in Seattle. Before that, he launched the nationally - acclaimed Friday Harbor House on San Juan Island. His new venture is Culinary Consultants which serves the restaurant trade. He lives with his family n Bainbridge Island, WA.Anne Herman is a commercial photographer whose work has appeared in several books: Savoring Seattle, Meditations for Dogs, and Meditations for Cats (the latter two from Andrews - McMeel). She is based in North Bend, Washington.
