Tasha LaRoche, a college freshman in Tucson, had always heard the strange tales her grandmother told her of island dwellers who could travel through time. She and her older brother Rayshawn had dismissed them as “Island Mumbo Jumbo.” But when Tasha’s roommate Hannah begins to experience migraine auras coupled with time displacement, Tasha begins to have second thoughts. She tries to piece together the clues from her grandmother’s old stories and solicits the help of her brother, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Hannah shares her plight with her older sister and an assistant professor, ultimately pulling them into a tangled web of attempted murder 300 years in the past, on an island, miles away from the desert southwest. Unbeknown to Hannah and Tasha, the murderer is watching their every move. Only time, resolve, and camaraderie will save them. But will it be too late?
