About the Author

I married my childhood sweetheart, and am a mother to three amazing children. I worked as a nurse for several years prior to beginning a family, and later began an online custom hair bow business. Recently, I've retired from the hair bow business to spend more time with my family. My inspiration to write is driven by a desire to be relatable to others, who so often suffer alone. My passion is to simply be honest...about myself, unmasked as the Lord sees, and hopefully, without pretense. My days are not so different from anyone else's. However, it's often those unspoken, tarnished similarities that connect us. Individual stories may vary, but our hearts are still wounded, and our faith most certainly wavers. Shedding the pretense that things-are-ok, and realizing that others are not so different in their pain, provides that much sought after healing balm...of hope.
