About the Author

Romy Phillips, MFA, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, is a certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist who has been teaching primarily in the Los Angeles area since 2001. In addition to teaching, she leads workshops, trainings, and retreats in the U.S., Japan, and China. She is the founder and creator of Yogathology, LLC and the program series "Yoga Forma: Facts, Body Awareness, Practice." Romy has been leading teacher trainings for YogaWorks since 2012 in Japan, China, and--in 2018--Vietnam. She also holds workshops and intensives at First Ship Total Yoga School, in Tokyo.Romy is an avid Ashtanga and Iyengar, and meditation practitioner.
