Synopsis
On November 28, 1995, author Chris Schoenleb's life changed forever. He was told by the Mayo Clinic that he had Lou Gehrig's disease and had no more than two years to live.
In Only God Could Heal Me, Schoenleb tells the story of his Job-like struggles over the four years following this diagnosis. He vividly describes his emotional roller coaster of trying to live as normally as possible; first while planning for death, then later while searching for healing, after his diagnosis was changed to a non-fatal, but totally crippling neurological disorder. Finally he describes the miraculous end to his struggles-a healing totally unexplainable to modern medicine.
Only God Could Heal Me is a dramatic true story of the power of faith and prayer-a story that ends with Schoenleb describing how his struggles led him to know God in a new and very personal way, and how, after his healing, he became a very different person living a blessed "second life".

About the Author
Chris Schoenleb is a professional marketer who recently retired after a long career in corporate management, a career he chronicled in his book, Batting Marketing Myths. He is a gifted public speaker and currently serves as a lay church leader. He and his wife, Joanne, have four children and nine grandchildren.
