About the Author:

Kate and Ryan are living their own happily ever after in Western Washington with their son on a small acreage, combining geek enthusiasm with modern homesteading. Ryan writes a wide variety of genre fiction, including urban and contemporary fantasy, science fiction, horror, and mystery under several different pen names. He has sold stories to On Spec Magazine, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Alien Skin Magazine. He’s the author of such novels as Dark Matters, The Gingerbread House, Dirty Old Vampires, Waking Dead Things and Goblin Alley: the Bloodied Fang. He holds a master degree from Seton Hill University in writing popular fiction, and as a member of the Oregon Writers Network, Ryan also graduated from the master class taught by bestselling authors Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch.
