About the Author:

Celeste Rose is a retired Theatre Director and winner of The Arts and Letters Award, Eugene, Oregon, 2002, honoring her twenty-five years as Director of Rose Children’s Theatre. Rose travels as the creator and performer of Oregon Fantasy Marionette Theatre and has written and produced over sixty theatre and marionette plays. Her short stories, “Skeleton Woman,” and “Muncho the Mouse” were published in Eugene’s art magazine, Jerry Williams’ quarterly. She is an alto in the Central Presbyterian Church chancel choir and a member of Eugene Storytellers. Although she is a Northwest woman a large portion of her life was spent in the American South.
