About the Author

Kimberly Davison-Fujioka taught English as a Second Language, at the university level, from 1982 to 2010. She received her BA in Psychology/English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. She studied for her first graduate degree in English Literature in 1983 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2000 she completed a graduate degree, in Applied Linguistics (Teaching English as a Second Language) at the University of Surrey. She has tutored hundreds of students in English as a Second Language since 1982. Kimberly has written and published numerous professional papers in the field of Applied Linguistics and several chapters in published books, including To Japan with Love: A Travel Guide for the Connoisseur (2009). She has written and published many short stories and poetry in literary journals. Kimberly currently works as an editor at the business she founded in 2004, English Writing Help, Inc. which specializes in editing books and academic and scientific writing for professional researchers.
