About the Author

David James has taught English at universities in England, the United States, North Africa and the Gulf. In 1965 he was awarded a Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and in 1978 a British Academy Fellowship. Within the past decade, having written sundry plays, stories, articles and reviews, he turned to the longer form and has self-published four novels.
