About the Author

Swami Bhajanananda Saraswati is a dasnami-naga-sannyasi in the lineage of Guru Dattatreya and Adi Shankaracharya. He is a devotee of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and a disciple of Swami Omananda Sarswati and the late Swami Vishnudevananda Saraswati of Prayag. In India he stays at his ashram, the Yoga-Vedanta Kutir, located at the holy confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers. In the United States, he stays at Kali Mandir, a Hindu temple in Laguna Beach, California, where he serves the awakened image of the Mother Goddess Kali and Her beautiful devotees.
