About the Author

The author, Carole Lees, writes under the pen name C J Lees. Originally from rural Hertfordshire in the UK, she has lived in South-west France with her husband since 2001 and works in the private sector teaching English and French. Always fascinated by the way our lives can twist and turn in totally unforeseen ways just because of one decision or action, she was inspired to write her first novel, "Your Number's Up", which explores the challenges we all face in life and the unforeseen repercussions of temptation in all its many forms. Since then she has written a second book, "Turnaround", questioning how far we will go when we believe that those we love are under threat and whether our actions can always justify the means.
