Synopsis

In Part II, she transitions into lucid life tales to show the beauty in a language, how one's culture and the lack thereof, can affect one's thought processes and behavior. It is possible to lose an accent or assimilate into a new culture. It is also possible to forget your heritage, and in this forgetfulness, people lose much.

About the Author
Nkem DenChukwu was born in the Enugu State of Nigeria. She migrated to the United States in 1994 and earned her bachelor's degree in computer networking and her master's degree in health services administration. She coauthored The Unstoppable Woman's Guide to Emotional Well-Being. She now lives in Sugar Land, Texas, with her family.
