Literature, demographics, scientific findings, interviews, and a comparison between experiences are integrated into an ethnographic analysis in an effort to better understand the perceived silence and stigma around pregnancy loss before twenty weeks.

About the Author:

Grace Gould is a recent graduate of Hampshire College. There, she studied reproductive health, pregnancy, birth, public health disparities, and the reproductive life spectrum. Her thesis on miscarriage is the result of several years of research into all aspects of reproductive life occurrences.
