Synopsis
This late-elementary solo in an energetic 4/4 meter gives students the opportunity to speed along the keys. Although written in a C major 5-finger pattern, there are several hand position changes and a variety of articulations. An abundance of eighth notes add energetic stepwise movement to the melody. A sprinkling of accidentals creates interest, and a few harmonic intervals and triads provide contrast to the running notes throughout.
