About the Author:

Seymour Shubin has been producing short stories and novels for over 50 years, beginning with the New York Times' bestseller Anyone's My Name. The novel has been taught in university criminology courses in the USA and "it is a book that has refused to simply lay down and die. Shubin has now written countless short stories and articles, and fifteen novels... including the Edgar Special Award winning The Captain. His latest book is the short story collection Lonely No More, which was released by Murder Slim Press in November, 2012.

Shubin works in the crime genre, but he does not write whodunits. There's no long wait to find who the criminal is, but there is a study of how they were driven to their crimes... and whether they can be stopped or redeemed. The focus is on the effects of crime, and often their emotional impact on both the victim and the perpetrator.
