About the Authors

Glenda A. Gunter is an Associate Professor, Co-chair of the Instructional Design & Technology programs at the University of Central Florida, and has a PhD in Instructional/Educational Technology. She has a strong background in K-20 education, instructional design, digital media and technology, curriculum integration, K-12 literacy, and program development and evaluation. Dr Gunter is the recipient of the 2010 Sloan-C Award for Excellence in Online Teaching.

Randolph E. Gunter has over 40 years of experience in education and training. He has a PhD in Educational Technology, has co-authored 12 textbooks, written dozens of articles, and presented at over 50 conferences. He is Chairman and Chief Visionary Officer of 21st Century Learning Solutions, Inc., specialising in online training for K-12 schools, higher education, and major corporations.

Isabel Tarling is an Educational Technologies Integration Specialist. She holds a PhD in Education Technologies and Teacher Professional Development, and is Director of Learning Design at Limina Education Services. Isabel passionately believes that the key to transforming teaching and learning lies in empowering teachers to create and innovate with technologies, and to plan and manage change. She has extensive experience in working with teachers from all phases, subjects and backgrounds. As an author she is widely published, and her research on teacher change is included in South Africa’s Professional Development Framework for Digital Learning.
