From the Author:
My third novel will be coming in the early months of 2017. It too is a strong character driven work with likable characters you're sure to connect with as they experience a horrible life-changing journey. Another story I'm sure will not disappoint.
About the Author:
Gary Mogan, was born and raised in a small hamlet in the foothills of Southern Ohio, which inspired his active conclusion to this novel. The idea of writing occurred to Gary, while he lay in a hospital bed after suffering a serious auto accident in 2002, where in a desperate effort to save his life, his right leg was amputated. His recovery was described as difficult with multiple follow-up surgeries. Feeling frustrated and isolated, he decided to occupy his mind with writing. The outline to “Rainbows Shed Tears on the Sunset” was completely originated while staring at the ceiling of his hospital room for sixty-seven days. Once discharged and having access to a keyboard, the story was set in motion. Gary, is the father of two grown daughters and has been married for the past 28 years. He credits his recovery and inspiration for all things in life to his family, who tirelessly stood by his bedside and motivated his speedy recovery once he returned home. This entire novel was typed on a laptop computer while working as a part-time nighttime security officer for a gated community in the Fort Lauderdale area. Gary further returned to his regular day-time job while also working overnights on the weekend to complete this story. He stated it was the only quiet time he could manage to concentrate on writing as his day-time job often required he take his work home during the week, and of course the hectic nature of running a household, would not afford the quiet time needed to work through the details of the complex characters in this novel. Gary plans on seeking another overnight weekend job to complete his second novel, due in the near future.
