About the Author

Randolph Randy Camp, author of the screenplays TIME OUT TIME IN, TONY'S BIKE and HARRY'S FIELD, was born in rural Spotsylvania County, Virginia on March 12, 1961. After graduating with honors from Spotsylvania Sr. High School in 1979, Randy joined the US Air Force and traveled the globe. While stationed at Kadena Air Force Base on Okinawa Island, Japan, Randy attended the Overseas Division of University of Maryland University College. During his off-duty time, Randy would write short stories. Some of Randy's earlier short stories written during his off-hours in the military have developed over the years as full-length movie scripts and novel manuscripts, such as his prize-winning 'Wet Matches' and '...Then The Rain.' A lot of Randy's stories have the central theme of society's underdogs beating the odds and somehow becoming triumphant towards the end. Randy was a Quarter-Finals Prize Winner of the prestigious Writers Network 14th Annual Fiction Competition in Los Angeles. Randy has five daughters (Christina, Natasha, Melinda, Randie, Ranielle) and one son Joshua. Randy currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa, where he is working on his next novel.
