The Sponsor Manuals apply established educational techniques to developing an understanding of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. This process leads to a structure that progressively improves a persons knowledge and understanding of each of the steps examined.
Using Bloom’s Taxonomy as a powerful teaching tool to develop learning objectives we engage the following process of learning. Before you understand a concept you must remember it. To apply a concept you must understand it. To evaluate a process you must have analysed it and to create new ideas and sponsor people you must have in-depth knowledge of the whole program and how it works.
This guide can be worked through alone, in a group or with a sponsee and sponsor.
This is not a stand alone guide. For it to be successful you must have access to the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions.
The manual is also available in a WORKBOOK EDITION providing space for you to keep a record of the work as you complete it.
