This Book is simple. It is about the weather and different types of weather. I write this book especially for children and learning. Wisdom goes deep. What one learns it keeps. Let one not be afraid to ask questions and learn. I believe in education and dreams. I was always taught to raise the hands in the class room to ask a question and to not be afraid to speak up. I believe learning comes at home first and it is up to the parent or parents to help that child. What we begin to focus in on at home we keep and take it with us too. If one could spend an hour with their child everyday we would see jumps in grades to vast improvements such as helping your child to learn to read and count. We need to be proud of our child. And in this book it helps children to know the weather and the dangers. It helps to know when to seek safety from the ordinary as well as to be alert on the approaching.

About the Author

I am Cheyene Montana Lopez. I am a native of Alabama. I grew up in rural north Alabama on a small one hundred acre farm. I loved to sit and think of life. I used to wonder what I would do in life when I got grown. One of m favorite things to do was to spend sunsets or sunrises on Weiss Lake fishing getting away for the day to enjoy life. Of course I always changed my mind over and over as most boys did. I was a junior in high school when I discovered I had the talent and ambition to write. I always since that time wanted to be a poet and book writer. I was one to always help my father on the farm even after I was a grown man. I loved and respected. I enjoyed the world and what God gave us. We need to keep better care of it. I took weather back in high school and that I took with me in life every day. So that's why I write this book for other kids to learn more about the weather. It was back in Alabama I seen effects of tornadoes and hurricanes. I remember I helped my father back in Collinsville Alabama build a tornado shelter as it was in 1973 of April in Fort Payne, Alabama and Centre, Alabama I seen the damages of tornadoes and waterspouts. I seen tornadoes wrap pieces of mobile home around pine trees or broken in half pine trees thrown like wash cloths or darts. I will never forget those days and we could not know if tornadoes would come day or nights. We always carried a radio with us inside our home built tornado shelter. Every ten years it seemed like tornadoes would hit the same areas of North Alabama. I know this from personal experience of living in Alabama a part of the bible belt, and known for being in the midst of tornado alley. Be alert and help keep your family, friends, your sister and brothers, your mother and father safe from bad weather and tornadoes. I now reside in Michigan with my lovely wife also a book author herself, Patricia A. Lopez to whom I love all my days of life.
