Synopsis
Apocalypse Rising is an urban fantasy novel that follows Justin, an angel who once surrendered his memories and power to live among humanity. After thousands of years walking the crowded streets of the modern world, his compassion has survived even as his faith in Heaven has faded. Hidden in the slums of New Arcadia, he uses what little remains of his former glory to protect the forgotten and the lost.
When Justin witnesses the ruthless killing of a young woman at the hands of a powerful businessman, his quiet life shatters. The murder draws the attention of forces both divine and profane, forcing Justin to flee before demons, conspirators, and his own haunted past catch up to him. To survive, he must confront the truth of who he was—and who he may need to become again.
As fragments of memory return, Justin finds himself pulled into a struggle that blends celestial politics, ancient magic, and the fragile humanity he refuses to abandon. His only hope lies in seeking help from the very beings he left behind, but returning to that world could cost him the one friend he has left… and ignite a conflict with consequences far beyond New Arcadia.

About the Author
Eric Swett is the husband of Tracy and the father of Zachary and Connor. He works in the IT industry and is a self-proclaimed geek. A recent transplant to North Carolina, he spent the last year writing at least 100-words per day for a year, resulting in his first book, Apocalypse Rising.
