When I finished writing "Cystic Fibrosis & the Brewer's Yeast" in 2011, this 4-part novel ended up (gulp) almost 400 pages long, but fortunately the first two portions - I soon realized - could stand alone as short stories. "The Secret Life of Water" is the second one and gives a good indication of what the rest of the full-length novel is about. Enjoy.
David Wooster is a scientist & writer. He earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry at Montana State University in 2002 and has published research on cystic fibrosis and childhood meningitis.
