Synopsis
This is the story of the growing into adulthood of three siblings - buffeted by frequently changing, and occasionally tragic, family circumstances - sometimes living united, but, more often, separated by as much as entire continents of distances. The time line of the story initially sweeps briefly through the Pre - and Post - Civil War and Reconstruction Periods of the United States, to land squarely upon the emphasis of life during the Great Economic Depression (1929 - 1941) and World War II (1941 - 1945). These three separate stories trace mercurial vistas, and - in the aggregate - present the striking perspective of having been lived in entirely different worlds.
