My book is about my life growing up at home. There were a lot of things that I didn't understand about life. For example, how you should live and how you should treat people. During my teenage years I went through a very horrible situation that changed my views on life. After that point I began to question things like what love is. I couldn't understand why and how something like that could happen to me as a child, if so why were we put on this earth? Why did we exist if bad things are going to happen throughout our life? The situation that occurred was something I knew I could overcome but didn't know how. I also didn't have anyone that I felt comfortable enough to talk to about the situation. I know for a fact that there are several people all over the world in both genders that probably have experienced something similar. This is one of the biggest reasons why I wanted to write this book. Hopefully, readers that have gone through traumatic events at a young age will read about my life and find the strength to overcome their situation. Whether you are what's called a "good" person or a "bad" person you're going to go through trials. Some of these are avoidable if you make good choices but others are not. It's just a part of what we know as life. My ultimate prayer is that after others read this book "the eyes of their understanding will be enlightened. That they may know what the hope of his calling is!" Ephesians 1:18
