About the Author:
Jennifer Rash, (1987) was born in Daly City, California, grew up in Fairfield California and graduated South Tahoe High School class of 2005. Her first book "Dream Angel (Kidnapped)" is completely digitally rendered using programs such as Poser, DAZ Studio, Hexagon and Bryce with the occasional Photoshop touch-up and finalizing in Manga Studio. Growing, up she had a very musical background, learning to play piccolo in third grade and in high school becoming an undefeated piccolo solo champion. In spite of this, art and writing have been a strong passion in her life, combined with the typical Barbie storytelling as a kid. One of her earliest characters, Katrilina, became a Barbie in costume entered in the county fair that earned First place. Her college years started at Lake Tahoe Community College as an art major with emphasis in animation. Thus, the artistic path was more firmly set for her. Just before moving to Carson City, Nevada in 2008, she took a basic animation class, two life drawing classes and several other art-related classes including Flash animation classes. She fully credits her friend and college English teacher Stacey Barnes for her ability to write. After moving to Carson City, she had a disappointing year with an online college that resulted in large student loans and non-transferable credits. Shortly after, transferring to Truckee Meadows Community College with a change in major to web development, emphasis in animation. She hopes to transfer to Western Nevada College in spring 2013. She also created soft character dolls based on characters from her comic book, that are available on her blog: http://www.dreamangelsparadise.com/blog/ which is updated almost daily.
