Pope John XXIII is a Saint. But he is much more than that to Dr. Bill Cummings. For two years, Bill lived in Rome and got as close to this Saint as anyone could possibly get. Pope John taught Bill how to think and how to question, and eventually, (of all things!) how to leave the very Church he loved. Bill walked right through the Open Window.
