About the Author
D. R. Carson is a native Californian, who moved to Georgia in 1977 with her husband Rick and son Joshua. She still resides there with her husband and their spoiled dog Maxi. She read her first Romance novel when she was in her early twenties and knew then what she wanted to do when she grew up; even knowing then her pen name. In spite of shy tendencies Ms. Carson has compassion for her fellow humans. She has a love of animals and loves being creative and writing, finding inspiration and story ideas wherever she goes. Often in tune with nature, she feels the seasons and changes in the weather speak to her. She has written several pieces of fiction; drawing on her own life experiences in creating her stories, and uses that to help the stories grow. A second generation female motorcyclist; she has been riding her own motorcycle since 1996 and has been a member of her local chapter of a national women's motorcycle organization since 2002. She has written articles and short stories for their chapter's monthly newsletter. She and her husband enjoy riding together and seeing the beautiful countryside and small towns. She enjoys the mountains and Savannah and Tybee Island, Georgia.
