From the Author

The idea for Super Ninja Alien Robot Monsters came out of watching a lot of kids television with my two boys before they had started going to primary school. I'd been screenwriting for 8 years with limited success and had been thinking about switching to producing children's animation for television. I had an idea for these crazy, dopey aliens doing silly things and failing badly at their attempts to take over Earth.
I'd also been planning on writing a book for years and somehow this project morphed from animation to book. As a result the book is mostly for boys (who would have guessed with that title?) - although the Mum and Samantha characters are very strong. As it turns out, lots of girls like the book too! Maybe it reminds them of their pesky little brother. When I write, I aim for "Humor with Heart" and the development of a child's emotional intelligence. I hope you get a sense of that from this book.
