About the Author

Paul Jellinek has lived and worked in New Jersey since 1983. He works with foundations, plays in a blues band, and in 2008 published his first book, "Promise to Mary: A Story of Faith in Action," about the homebound elderly and the volunteers who help them. His second book, "Fred and Pete's: They're All Nuts," published in 2010, is about the local deli where he goes for breakfast most days and some of the remarkable characters on both sides of the counter who make it the very special place that it is. In response to popular demand (mostly from people who weren't in the first Fred and Pete's book), he has now written the sequel, "Fred and Pete's: They're STILL Nuts", which he swears will be his last book about Fred and Pete's--you hear that, guys? I'm not kidding!
