About the Author

Having lived through the same periods of time, Rob is able to bring that time to life through the characters in the Back in the Day Trilogy. Although the characters are fictional the circumstances they face are realistic and have been quite relatable to many of his readers. Coming out and coming of age for him was a bit more complicated than it was for the characters in the book, but he was able to rise above those obstacles and the ridicule that came along with the coming out process. Rob French grew up in a small town in Massachusetts during a time you didn't tell anyone your secret. You did what you had to do to keep that secret hidden. Decades later Rob now resides in Glendale, Arizona and continues to write stories along the same lines only in more current times and dealing with more current issues.
