About the Author:

Dr. Edet Esara was born into a Nigerian Christian family where honoring elders yielded benefits and the corollary was true. As a child, his early understanding of the Scripture was at his mother's feet. At twelve years old, he won a Bible knowledge competition of which other contestants included ordained priests and some mature Christians and a barrister-at-law. This seed was later watered by the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International and energized for fast growth by infilling of the Holy Spirit. He has not had the benefit of seminary training or theological universities education but depends on the Holy Spirit. By God's providence, Dr. Esara is a forensic physician endued with wide experience in the management of patients who are troubled and in relevant issues. To solve their problems, Dr. Esara researches into the sources of their problems. Thus he writes mainly from the revelations he appropriates from his encounters that prompt him to study the relevant scriptures. He participates in Sunday schools as this affords him the opportunity to entertain questions directly from his hearers at the time of teaching. While he believes the questions he answers are actually addressed by the Holy Spirit, his exposure is fraught with the challenges similar in some ways to those of early Christians without pulpits. He is a member of the Sunday school class of the New Testament Christian Church of God in England. This is the first publication from his series of teachings on obeying God with particular attention on one of the Ten Commandments.
