About the Author

Sue E. Jones is a certified running coach through Road Runners Club of America and a personal trainer through American College of Sports Medicine. In 2001 she founded the first homeschool cross country team in the nation. Through her personal running and coaching experience, she has spent over 10 years developing a great formula for helping young and beginning runners achieve their goals and remain injury free. She has directed several road races as well as been on the committee for the Virginia 10 Miler. She administered the President's Fitness Challenge for many years and developed several programs to motivate physical fitness for young athletes.
